1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Qattal websites, apps, extensions, or related services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Keep your credentials confidential and notify us of any suspected breach. You are responsible for activities under your account.

3. Your Content

Your retain ownership of files and content you upload or import ("User Content"). You grant Qattal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights to upload and that your content complies with these Terms.

4. Prohibited Content & Conduct

Do not upload illegal, pornographic, infringing, or harmful content; malware; or content that violates other rights. We run automated moderation and reject pornographic content and other prohibited content. Do not attempt to bypass moderation; do not abuse the Service (spanning, scraping beyond flat use, reverse engineering, or compromising security).

5. Imports, Extensions & Third-Party Services

When you connect third-party services (e.g., Photonset) or install our browser extension, you authorize us to retrieve and process content solely to provide the Service. We will not post to third-party accounts. Imports may run in the background; you can disconnect at any time. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Plans & Billing

Qattal does not currently offer paid plans. If we introduce paid plans later, additional terms (including pricing, taxes, renewals, and refunds) will apply and will be presented at checkout.

7. Notices

Official notices to Qattal may be sent to: Qattal, Z1, Agbside Plaza, Akala Express, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria or legal@qattal.com.

8. Deletion & Retention

Deleting an item moves it to Recently Deleted for 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted. You may delete your account; personal data will be deleted or anonymized as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to legal obligations and backups.

9. Fair Use & Limits

To protect reliability and costs, we may apply reasonable limits (e.g., rate limits, storage caps, or unverified-account caps) and may suspend or incurse abusive usage. Details may be posted in documentation or your plan page.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service (software, design, trademarks) is owned by Qattal or its licensors and protected by law. These Terms do not grant rights to our IP except as necessary to use the Service. You grant us a license to use feedback and suggestions to improve the Service.

11. Beta & Experimental Features

Features labeled beta or preview are provided as-is, may change or be discontinued, and may be subject to additional terms.

12. Warranties & Disclaimers

The Service is provided as-is and as available without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qattal and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Qattal harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or for scheduled emergency maintenance. We will try to notify you when reasonable.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in London, England for any disputes, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via the Service or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
